Simplify life, redirect your energy to important areas by sorting food and clothes

Food: We eat to live and not live to eat, we are not slaves to our taste buds but govern them. We spend so much time and energy choosing what we would eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Based on our choices we then invest time on getting ingredients and fixing meals. Let’s do this only for Sundays where meals are an elaborate affair, rest of the days keep meals simple, only keeping in mind that we are getting the required nutrition. You would be surprised how much time you save and can invest it in hobbies creating something new, organizing your home, exercising, listening to music or reading. It will help you relax and give zest to life.

Clothes: Know your style. Keep basic comfortable everyday clothes that can be worn day long, clean cut, mostly coordinated classy colors and styles. Invent your own style, you know what looks best on you and you are most comfortable in, once that’s decided life will be a lot simpler. While shopping for clothes for everyday wear go for machine washable, less ironing and starch requiring clothes. One can always dress up for family gatherings or occasions.

The energy and time you save from fixing above necessities everyday can be invested in organizing and focusing on things like your projects, personal goals, health goals. This is not only for working people, even homemakers would benefit so much from this
